Level Indication and Control Products:

(Automation Products Group) Pressure & Level Transmitters

Automation Products Group, Inc. (APG), an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, specializes in liquid level sensor and pressure transducer design and manufacture. Our roots in the business go back to the early 70’s. Since then we have built an extensive line of sensors:
Ultrasonic level sensors
Continuous float level transmitters (magnetic level probes)
Float switches
Pressure transducers
Digital pressure gauges
Submersible hydrostatic pressure transducers
Remote monitoring sensors

APG specializes in matching application needs with the right sensing technologies for end-users and OEMs. We are Flexible by Design, providing a wide range of technologies, field-configurable sensors, exceptional customer service, and custom product modifications.

Our sensors have been used in many industries, and in many applications. Most notably, our liquid level and pressure sensors have had huge success for OEM market leaders in Oil and Gas, Automatic Car Wash, and Medical industries, and have been staples for end-user manufacturers everywhere. In addition, APG’s aerospace division manufactures avionics for military and commercial aircraft, and we have many aerospace customers that use our pressure transducers.

We are on the cutting-edge of remote monitoring integration with level and pressure sensors. Bulk Material Handling and Logistic companies are saving time and money using our tools for remote data access to sensors on tanks spread across entire regions. These real-time monitoring techniques are revolutionizing the way many companies gather and respond to data.

APM Automation Solutions Ltd.

APM Automation Solutions Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and expert in volume and level measurement instrumentation. Its flagship product, the 3DLevelScanner, represents a new family of devices that takes the guesswork out of measuring the level, volume and mass of materials stored inside a silo or open bin with 3D mapping of the contents. It incorporates APMs unique patented technology to a range of 3D volume and level measurement solutions that address applications previously thought to be beyond the scope of level measurement with unparalleled degrees of accuracy.

APM Technology how it works

The 3DLevelScanner employs an array of three antennas to transmit low frequency pulses and to receive echoes of the pulses from the contents of the silo, bin or other container. Using three antennas the unit measures not only the time/distance of each echo but also its direction. The device's Digital Signal Processor samples and analyzes the received signals to provide very accurate measurements of the level, volume and mass of the stored contents and generates a 3D representation of actual allocation of product within the container for display on remote computer screens.
This unique device measures practically any kind of material stored in a great variety of containers, including silos, large open bins, bulk solid storage rooms, stockpiles and warehouses. It maps build-up loads and other irregularities that randomly form over time, offering solutions and for this and many other previously inaccessible challenging applications.

APM's customers baseincludes: ADM, Cargill, Bunge, Louis Dreyfus, Proctor and Gamble, International Paper, Cemex, Lafarge, Anheuser Busch, Fagen, Holcim, Henkel, Coca Cola, Alcan, ArcelorMittal, De Beers, and many others.
